The Global Power and Propulsion Society (GPPS) Conference and Forum have been successfully completed. The event was held at the premises of ETH Zurich. Both events provided an excellent occasion for all participants to meet with colleagues from all over the world and created opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Our project partners had the opportunity to present two papers during the technical conference. Also, a keynote panel session entitled “Gas-Fired power plant alliance with electrification and renewables, a possible future?” took place exploring new business and technological drivers
Technical conference: 15th – 16th of January
The new dedicated European Technical Conference includes ten Paper Sessions, a Scholar Lecture, Interdisciplinary and Technical keynotes, a tutorial and a Panel. PUMP-HEAT project will present a number of technical papers where the progress of the project’s research will be demonstrated.

Forum: 17th – 18th of January
A mix of panel sessions and keynotes will be held in the two-day GPPS Forum. A PUMP-HEAT specific session “Gas-Fired power plant alliance with electrification and renewables, a possible future?” will be chaired by prof. Aristide Massardo, from University of Genoa.
