Rina Consulting, part of the RINA Group, is the largest fully independent Italian firm providing consulting & engineering services to Clients belonging both to the public and the private sector. Rina will be responsible of WP6 activities about the replication and the scale up of the PHCC layout and it will responsible of the financial and administrative coordination of the project.
Members
Mr. Stefano Barberis, PhD: he received his PhD in Turbomachinery and Energy Systems Engineering at University of Genova in 2016. He is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in renewable energy sources, project management, techno-economical feasibility studies, research activities on energy storage and renewable energy systems, due diligence, innovation and technology transfer. He is employed at Rina since September 2016 working in different European Project dealing with CHP, RES and energy efficiency with particular reference to innovation.
Ms. Maria Cozzi: she has more than ten years of experience in process design and mechanical component engineering for several industrial sectors such as Power Generation plants (conventional, combined cycle, renewable sources); Oil & Gas facilities (extraction and processing plants; crude distillation and refinery; LNG storage and regasification); Industrial Plants such as cement production, chemicals, with a deep knowledge in models and calculations of processes, including power plants, oil & gas, industry sectors. She acquired a strong capability in interacting with other people, both inside the Company in hierarchy-related relationships, and with clients or third parties involved in projects; her role inside the company is presently Manager of the Design Technical Area, in Industry & Power Generation Business Unit.
Mr. Giannicola Loriga: he received his Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa. He started his career at Smartex s.r.l. as hardware, software and sensors developer and where he gained a wide experience in EU project management (FP5-FP6-FP7). He joined Rina in 2009 where he is responsible for several projects related to the research and development of novel products, services, technologies and processes as well as EU funded projects (FP7-H2020). He has been responsible of the Industrial Technology Area, which provides qualified consulting services oriented to support enterprise associations, public and business entities, research centres and industries in the exploitation and protection of their assets. In this framework, he has extensive expertise in Market Analysis, Business Modeling, Business Planning, technical economical assessment, IPR management and exploitation strategies (Main References: Indicate FP7-GA-608775, SPORTE2 FP7 ICT-EEB GA 260124, Resilient GA-314671, Profitex GA-228855, S(P)EEDKITS FP7-GA 284931, Manutelligence H2020-GA-636951). He is currently the manager of the ‘Project coordination” Unit.
Mr. Giorgio Urbano: he holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Genoa. He is employed at Rina since October 2009, where he is involved in industrial consultancy projects as well as European co-funded R&D projects. As part of the Business Unit- Industry and Power Generation of Rina he is involved in activities that include feasibility and conceptual design, lay out definition, energy networks design, cost analysis utilising the LCC approach, environmental impacts assessment utilizing the LCA methodology.
Ms. Stefania Marongiu: she is a bookkeeper with experience in accounting. She graduated in Political Sciences and specialized in Public and Governmental Admin with the thesis “The public funding for private companies”. She holds a degree in European Affairs of the Institute for International Political Studies. Her experience in EU Funded Research Projects started on the 7th FP where she was involved in the administrative and financial coordination of several projects in one of the departments of Medicine in the University of Genova. She worked for accounting and financial reporting of European Social Fund projects in the Province of Genova/Metropolitan City of Genova for three years. Starting from March 2015 she joined the “Research and Innovation” unit of Rina. She has experience on financial accounting, management procedures, and administrative matters pertaining to EU projects. She is in charge of the administrative and financial management of the PUMP-HEAT project.
